EDUCATION RESOURCES

The 2008 State of Environment Report Education Resource package, prepared by the Department for Environment and Heritage, aims to:

• Promote the SoE Report prepared by the Environment Protection Authority to schools, teachers, students and the school community
• Provide an information resource for teaching and learning
• Stimulate environmental action that engages students and teachers in developing sustainable solutions to issues identified by the SoE Report
• Provide a number of environmental actions for schools and the community to choose sustainable practices that meet their environmental needs and capacity
